Regis Boucabeille, Les Terrasses

Sometimes wine is very simple. A classic blend of Mourvedre, Grenache and Syrah from organically farmed vineyards on a hillside in the Cotes du Roussillon. The grapes are worked and harvested by hand then fermented with native wild yeasts in concrete tanks to preserve the freshness of the fruit.

The result is a juicy, moreish red wine with soft tannins and masses of ripe blackberry and spiced plums. Fantastic with some grilled meat, especially on the few days where the weather looks good enough to get the barbecue out.
