A full bodied red, with a bit of structure and some light tannin. Not an overblown fruit bomb like many NdA’s - This still has plenty of Cherry, blackcurrant and ripe red fruits, but the mouthfeel is round and persistent, finishing dry and grainy. Very food friendly - especially with tomato based sauces that provide a lovely counterpoint to this wines herbal components.
