Lochlea “Harvest Edition”

Lochlea is an independent, family-owned distillery in Ayrshire. They grow their own barley distil and mature it on site.

This seasonal release celebrates what’s happening at the farm around harvest time. Matured in a mixture of bourbon barrels, port hogsheads and an oloroso sherry butt. It opens with notes of red grapes and strawberry jam before opening up with sweeter flavours of baked apple and white chocolate, leading to a savoury black pepper note on the finish.
