Lochlea Cask Strength Batch 3

Lochlea is an independent, family-owned distillery in Ayrshire. They grow their own barley distil and mature it on site.

The third release of their annual cask strength whisky is a blend of Oloroso sherry butts (which you can see in the glorious colour) and ex-Islay peated casks. Cherries, ripe red fruits and dark molasses greet the palate with a long complex finish offering notes of baking spice, salty smoke and more delicate floral nuances.
