Coto De Imaz Gran Reserva 2018

Weighty, textbook Rioja reserva from one of the biggest outfits in the region. Has a dash of Graciano which adds a deeper colour and some complex spice aromas to the vibrant red fruit of the  tempranillo.  Aged for over 18 months in American oak and a further 18 months in bottle.

Initial flavours of cherry, cranberry and vanilla gradually develop into peppered spice, stewed plum and smooth, lengthy tannins.
