Chateau Langoa Barton

It’s not very often that I get to go and buy us some seriously good Bordeaux, and this is definitely extremely serious. Like it’s sister Chateau, Leoville Barton it offers proper age-worthy wine without the insane markup you see on other prestigious wineries. A deep, spicy, complex and perfectly balanced wine which reminds you of everything that’s good about Bordeaux.

It’s drinking extremely well now but if you’ve got a good cellar and you’re able to hold off for a few years it will only continue to improve. It’s hard to call a £54 wine a bargain but properly stored this is going to be as close as you’ll get.
