First up: Happy New Year everyone - (hopefully that will be the last time I have to say that for twelve months or so) 2024 is shaping up to be "interesting" with pretty much equal odds with us ending up in either a (very slightly) improved place, or an apocalyptic hellscape.
Sadly, our destiny is largely out of our hands, so we might as well strap ourselves in and make sure that we have a glass of something decent to wash the anxiety down with.
To give you some pointers, we are going to try to make our tutored tasting evenings a more regular thing - with venues on both Leith Walk and Easter Road, the aim is to do these things monthly (or as near as)
To begin with on the last Sunday of February we will have a bit of an overview of what we've been drinking over the last year - Each of the six members of staff will present the best thing they've drunk over the course of 2023. (could be wine, beer, spirits, softs, cider - whatever) The resulting tasting, basically being a "greatest hits" of 2023 with the only overriding theme being our enthusiasm for the drink.
This should hopefully make for a fun, ramshackle, messy evening and it would be great if you could join us.
Things will kick off at 7pm sharp on Sunday 25th Feb
