Hidden Gems of Italy

Hidden Gems of Italy

No other nation can match Italy for sheer diversity of it’s wines. With hundreds of native grape varieties seen nowhere else and vineyards found throughout the land - every single corner of the country from the waistband, to the toecap and out to the remote islands has it’s own regional speciality.

You’re probably familiar with Chianti, Barolo and Soave - but it’s probably about time we introduced you to a small selection of some of the more obscure and somewhat overlooked stuff we’ve been enjoying over the last few months.

So please join us in November for a few glasses of Pelaverga, Turbiana and Aglianico

(amongst others)

The tasting will start at 7pm sharp on Sunday 16th of November in Argonaut Books, at the Foot of Leith Walk. Tickets are available HERE and over the counter in both shops. They are £25 per person and include a flight of 7 wines with a few nibbles to line up your stomach.

See you soon!
